“ We started with Kung Pao Shrimp Balls. The shrimp were huge, fried in a thin batter until fragrant, and then stir-fried with Sichuan spices. The shrimp meat was incredibly fresh, crisp, and bouncy! The sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet and sour, not too spicy. Delicious! We then ordered six skewers: two sirloin steak skewers, beef tongue, scallops, eel, pork belly, and okra. Each skewer had its own unique flavor! The cooking method was authentic, a true Sichuan style! The meat was grilled to a fragrant, tender, and juicy perfection, with the spices not overpowering, preserving the original freshness of the meat! The beef tongue was crisp and the eel was grilled to a charred perfection—absolutely fantastic! This bar/restaurant offers high-quality food prepared with care, and the staff are friendly and polite. Considering the price, it's really affordable and definitely worth a try! ”

“ [Chinese Bar] A friend recommended this upstairs bar in Causeway Bay. It's quite unique. While it serves Chinese cuisine, it also has a bar atmosphere, which was quite a surprise. The restaurant has a spacious interior and offers billiards, beer pong, and karaoke. They even have live bands from time to time, making it perfect for couples or groups of friends. Whisky Foie Gras $188 Before serving, the waiter blows a large bubble from a hookah into the whiskey glass, then pours the liquid over the foie gras. The foie gras is thick and tender, and the flavor goes well with the whiskey. Paired with crisp cucumber, it's a delicious combination with a rich, wine-like aroma. A must-try! Golden Sand Salt and Pepper Fresh Fish $138 Comes with two seasoning powders: cumin and barbecue. Each dish also comes with two shake bags. The seasoning powders and the large strips of fish are delicious! Beef Satay with Mushrooms and Vermicelli Casserole $128 The satay sauce is incredibly rich and flavorful, the beef is incredibly tender, and the vermicelli portion is generous. It goes really well with rice! Kowloon Sauce Garden Stir-fried Mixed Vegetables with Noodle Sauce $88 The noodle sauce is rich and fragrant, and the mixed vegetables are incredibly fresh and perfectly stir-fried. Berries Party $88 Hea Ha $88 Both drinks are non-alcoholic. I personally prefer the Hea Ha. The flavor is primarily a combination of lemon and pineapple juice, resulting in a sweet and sour drink that's a great appetizer. ”

Actually, it's a great restaurant. They not only serve Sichuan cuisine but also skewers. Everything is so delicious you can't stop eating! The place has a great vibe with lots of neon lights and private rooms, which is pretty good. They have live music shows on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and Girls Night on Wednesdays. Chongqing Grilled Eggplant 68 .5/5 Grilled vegetables often include eggplant, and this place grills whole eggplants—they're huge and a great value! They also add a lot of garlic, which is fantastic. It's slightly spicy and incredibly flavorful. Garlic Baby Bok Choy 58 .5/5 Garlic baby bok choy with a rich garlic flavor and a generous portion of baby bok choy. It's very sweet and delicious! Skewers Series Capel (3 skewers) 48 .5/5 Three skewers of capelin. The fish has a rich flavor, and the capelin skewers are plump and sweet, with a delicate and firm texture, and a savory and delicious taste. Squid Tentacles 58 .5/5 The ends of the squid tentacles are grilled until very crispy, and most importantly, the squid isn't tough at all—delicious! The restaurant, located upstairs in a commercial building on Yaohua Street, features a bar-style setting with signature Chiu Chow dishes. The decor is bright and clean, with ample seating. Besides serving Chiu Chow dishes, they also offer snacks and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Dinner is available with a set menu for one, featuring their signature homemade white brine, which you absolutely must try! White Brine Set $168 Appetizer: The sour radish is sour and sweet, a great appetizer. The signature homemade white brine is more refreshing than other brine sauces and is perfect with seafood , enhancing the abalone's tenderness and sweetness. Main: The Huadiao pigeon is also delicious, with a rich wine flavor and tender pigeon meat. Red Brine Set $138 Appetizer: The traditional chicken feet are refreshing, smoky, and fragrant, while the plum cherry tomatoes are sweet and sour, juicy, and easy to eat. “ Tonight I went to a fun and interesting place, Shining Bar & Restaurant in Causeway Bay. It's a Chinese-style bar and restaurant, unlike most bars and restaurants that serve Western food. This one was to my liking and creative, and they even had beer, ping pong, and other bar games available. What kind of food does a bar offer when it comes to Chinese cuisine? The menu was quite extensive, including seafood. We were planning to drink mocktails, so we ordered these dishes. Let's talk about the drinks first. The first was a Berries Party, made with mixed berry syrup, fresh lime, and soda water. The other was a Hea Ha, a mixture of coconut syrup, fresh lime juice, and fresh pineapple juice. Both were very refreshing and delicious. My top recommendation is the "Whiskey Foie Gras." It's visually appealing, with a smoky, bubbly presentation that releases a burst of smoke. The whiskey underneath infuses the dish with a smoky flavor, which is then poured over the foie gras. The combination of foie gras and whiskey creates a delightful smoky experience with a slightly spicy kick. Add some cucumber, and it's incredibly refreshing! Absolutely fantastic. The "Golden Salt and Pepper Whitebait" is both delicious and fun. It uses the currently popular shake-shake method, allowing you to mix your own barbecue or shabu-shake seasoning. It's incredibly flavorful and you won't be able to stop eating it. The "Salad Ribs" are large pieces with tender, juicy meat that's not tough at all. The "Stir-fried Water Spinach with Scallions" is crisp and tender. Two bowls of white rice are just right for two people. It's worth mentioning that there are two private rooms here, with a minimum charge of only $2,800 or $4,800 respectively from Monday to Thursday. They can accommodate 10 to 12 people, which is quite a good deal. ”

“ You can still eat your fill at any bar! Two days ago, I closed early and went for a drink with my colleagues. Thinking we'd work so hard, we'd have a happy hour! We chose Shining x Longtu Restaurant & Lounge. It was still early in the morning, so we could chat quietly. When we got upstairs, we realized it wasn't open for happy hour. But there were a lot of snacks and side dishes, so we gave it a try. Iced DUCK DUCK GOOSE After our drinks, the owner even gave us some mustard-crusted crispy peanuts instead of our drinks. Such a sweet girl! Clams in Pepper and Pickle Soup Clams soaked in pepper and pickle soup. Served hot and spicy! The soup base was rich and had a strong peppery flavor! The clams are big and plump The pickles aren't too salty and have a nice sweetness There are also garnishes like scallions, fried garlic, and vermicelli noodles, giving the dish a variety of flavors Golden Hand-made Hundred Flower Shrimp Balls They're fried to order, so genuine They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so chewy and delicious! “ Nice atmosphere with good Sichuan food! The service there is good and especially the bartender! He introduced to us the drink menu in detail and the mock tails were so good especially the mango killer! I should come with my friends again at night as there is a table for beer pong and i saw shisha in the menu as well! ”
